Welcome to Children of Bahamut! We're happy you're interested in joining our community. While there are no applications to join, there is a character claim. These are done on a first-come, first-serve basis.

To claim a character and have them added to the taken list, please fill out the form below and comment here. A moderator will process and approve your claim as soon as they are able to!

Age: She doesn't know her own age for sure, but gave an estimate of "15 or 16" a couple of in-universe years ago. That said I wouldn't say the game is 100% clear on whether characters are aging with the canonically advancing calendar or if it operates on animated sitcom/FFXIV "don't worry about it" logic, so she could be anywhere from 16 to 18, really. I mean the wiki I'm about to link points out that the timeline for her backstory already doesn't make a ton of sense and therefore speculates that she's significantly older than she claims, but personally I'm pretty sure that's more just, you know, a minor continuity error.

Link to History: With dropdowns to click for more! It's missing a few recent events where she basically guest stars as temporarily-the-protagonist.

Personality: Hella is a character about contrasts. They call those tsunderes-- She's a belligerent, foul-mouthed punk, but also has a sweet and cutesy side. She considers herself too streetwise and jaded to trust easily or let herself get tied down, but she's also actively friends with more named characters than probably any other Sinner (her in-game profile even mentions that she's surprisingly popular at the Bureau), and for the people closest to her she's as ride-or-die loyal as anybody you'll ever see. She's an inveterate petty thief with a violent past and a love for mischief and chaos, but she's also incredibly warm and kind to people she sympathizes with (when she's not bickering with them). She calls herself the Rat Queen as a boast about her cunning and sneakiness, but multiple other characters independently, affectionately compare her to a mouse.

In short, Hella is one of the most daughter-coded characters of all time. Most of the adults she interacts with for any length of time are drawn inexorably, gravitationally into becoming girldads (gender neutral) who think she's the best girl in the world and will let her get away with anything. And also most players, of Path to Nowhere the mobile game.

Dragon Bond Suggestion: I'd lean towards steel, for one for the aesthetic--Hella's natural environment is a a harsh, gray dystopian city--but also because I think a clever, mysterious, slightly smug personality would give her a lot to bounce off of and, crucially--
Dragon Bond Changes: --make her feel challenged. Hella is on a slow trajectory of growing up and becoming more independent and capable in canon, and she tends to both clash and bond with the same adults, so I think that could be the dynamic with her dragon.

Game Plan: If I'm doing my job right, Hella should strike a solid, equal balance between endearing herself to other characters and deliberately annoying them. More seriously, she's probably going to be concerned about the changes to her appearance from the dragon bond mechanics at first, but once she gets used to the idea, it's kind of exactly what she's been looking for--a way to get stronger--so she'll. Well. Actually she'll probably still slack off with the training unless someone takes it upon themselves to keep her honest, but we'll see.

Personal Information: Fryllepha spent much of her life on the move. A specialized courier, she was entrusted with some of the most vital information and packages to be delivered with the utmost care. She had to be quick on her feet and wary as she often journeyed to some of the most remote parts of the continent and beyond, all while protecting her letters and parcels. She served the royalty of Svihelen often and was known as one of the most reliable, determined dragons to grace the land.
