    Test Drive Meme #6 (January 1st, 2026)
While last year offworlders were still a bit too new to do much more than celebrate with fireworks and fanfare for the new year, this year there's certainly much more opportunity for revelry. Despite the hardships and uncertainty of the latter part of last year, people appear optimistic and ready to have a bit of fun.

People from all over the continent of Kamurkia have brought the ways that they ring in the new year. Have fun with pie, dancing, and feasts aplenty! Also, it may be time to reflect on how long some people have been here and... how to feel about that.

Weather / Natural Occurrences
    January 1st ~ 15th
The first week of the year is dedicated to all things pie. Thankfully, the weather for this is either clear or partly cloudy. No one likes a soggy pie, alright! Even with all the festivities and cheer though, it's still frigid outside. So, take the time to enjoy some mulled wine or cuddle up close to someone to stay warm where you can.

Thankfully, despite the setbacks, the water and plumbing infrastructure is nearly complete in Town! People will soon be able to take all the hot showers and baths that they desire once more.
    January 16th ~ 31st
As celebrations of the New Year begin to wind down, things go back to normal in Town and surrounding areas. Well, mostly normal. In the midst of a string of scattered snowstorms, it seems like there are members of the Brotherhood of the Sky taking advantage of the bad weather.

A series of break-ins occurs through Town; they seem to be targeting Dragonbonded, specifically, but not to harm them. Rather, they appear to be looking for something they believe the Dragonbonded might have. They will not clarify what though if caught and detained. These individuals will be turned over to the proper authorities and Charlie will try to figure out exactly what their motives are.
