Personality:
(+):
  • Kind, loyal, compassionate: She wants people to be safe, and treats people like she wants to be treated, even though they might not treat her in kind. She even extends olive branches to those that might have been villains or at least done some crappy stuff in the past (see her supports with Duke Tanas, who was a bit of an butt). She loves her family and country, but her family admittedly comes first in some ways. She's also reliable, and can be counter to help out where she can.
  • Tenacious: While sometimes she will face setbacks due to either her own insecurities, failures, or external circumstances, she'll keep at something she's made up her mind on. Keeping on in the battles while being as scared as she is in Path of Radiance is good evidence of this.
    • Strong-willed: Similar to above, but actually a mechanic in Radiant Dawn. The characters the Player controls all have strong enough wills to resist the goddess Ashera's attempt to turn everyone to stone near the end of the game. So it's a safe bet that willpower is very strong.
  • Sort of Calm: She's rarely the sort to get angry about things, unless you threaten others, or you get her to under 30% health. Then all bets are off.
  • Kinda optimistic: Tries to see the positive side of things (though this is rarely extended to herself), and Momma didn't raise a complainer! She tends to keep her grumbles inside, even if others might do otherwise.
  • Practical and Pragmatic: She's used to not having much, and what she does have is taken care of. She'll usually go for solutions that will be beneficial in the long-term, seeing no sense in having to redo something a whole bunch.
  • Kinda Smart?: Not book-smart (she can read and do some maths, but she's not had real schooling beyond what her parents taught her), but can pick up physical things fairly easily (she's just more physical in general than stuck in her head, as it were). She knows how to do a lot of stuff on the farm!

  • Shy/Self-conscious: While not as bad as she used to be, Nephenee still struggles with some self-confidence issues and treating herself with the same love she shows others. She's still a little sensitive about her strong country drawl, as well, but when she gets tugged out of her shell by something, it shows by her stutter lessening or disappearing.
  • Self-awareness: VERY related to the above. Despite having helped take care of her family after her father died, fighting in two wars to save her homeland, being quite beautiful (and being told this multiple times by others), helping defeat a goddess, and being what the game itself calls a legendary lancer...she doesn't have nearly enough self-awareness to reflect that in how she carries or sees herself. She'll literally talk about the battles she's fought in and the whole Ashera thing like she's reading it from a history book, and less like someone who participated in it. Sure, she's proud of serving under Ike, but it doesn't get much past that.
    • This doesn't apply to her awareness of her physical strength; she knows she's incredibly strong, fast, and sturdy, and she'll put that forward when the information is needed, albeit not in a bragging way. ("Sturdy girl like me could, you know, save your life.") She's sure of herself on the battlefield, and it shows in how accurate and deliberate she is.
  • Ignorant/naive: As stated above, not book-smart, and doesn't know a lot of non-country skills, and her wanting to see good in others could be taken advantage of.
  • Stubborn: The flip-side of the tenacity. Sometimes she'll get caught in a mode of thinking and stay there longer than she should, and when it comes to the battlefield, if she gets to 30% health, Wrath activates, and she gets pretty reckless, in stark contrast to how she normally is.
    • Oh, and she absolutely will put others before herself, to the point she'll run herself into the freaking ground unless someone stops her, if things get bad enough. It can get downright self-destructive.

Dragon Bond Suggestion: Silver, because they're virtuous, tend to be more lawful, and are very helpful. BUT I would like them to definitely be more social and try to push her to be so as well. Maybe a bit of a social butterfly and talkative. Alternatively, a more lawful than gremlin Brass, or a particularly social Bronze. But Silver suits her colouring better, being all blue and green as she is. I'd like them to press her more on getting out of her shell.

Dragon Bond Changes: Getting out of her shell, becoming a bit more social, definitely leaning into the helping others (but show yourself some love too, dummy)

Game Plan: Learn to love herself, make friends, maybe get a fella? We'll see what the game holds, but she needs to learn to open up, love herself, and make friends, dang it. She'll definitely get into trying to save the place however she can, though.
